We opened our first facility in Flower Mound, TX in December 2002 in hopes of providing higher quality of emergency medical service to a growing number of dissatisfied patients in our community. During our first four years of operation, we were voted the number one ER in Denton County, Texas by the Star Community Newspapers 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2009 Reader’s Choice Awards. First Choice ER was also chosen as # 1 ER in Denton County by The News Connection for 2007. This level of satisfaction is standard at all of our facilities. By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards for health care quality and safety, First Choice Emergency Room has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™ and becomes the first free-standing emergency room system in the nation to receive this prestigious award.

According to our 2008 patient survey, 98% of our patients are very pleased with all aspects of care received from the front office staff, billing department and medical staff of nurses and physicians.
